Hullo! I’m Rachel, an college student who’s interested in set, costume and props design. I’m a junior at my university and hope to go to graduate school for props technology. I live in the Chicago Land Area, and attend local and downtown theatre frequently.
I try to post a bit of everything on this blog - Props, Straight Plays, Musicals, Movies and Opera. Although, I am a bit partial to musicals. I try to post the best quality pictures I can find so it might take me a little while to update. I’m open to any requests you have!
My Favorite Musicals are: 1776, Ragtime, Assassins, The Drowsy Chaperone, Kiss Me Kate, Sweeney Todd, Next To Normal, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Scottsboro Boys and Company.
Favorite Plays: Blithe Spirit, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Angels in America, By The Bog of Cats, The Pitmen Painters, Jerusalem,Much Ado About Nothing, Pericles (William Shakespeare).
I’m also a huge fan of Superheroes (Batman esp!) Nintendo (Pokemon and Legend of Zelda) Disney (Beauty and the Beast!!) and the American Revolution!
